Workpiece internal temperature measurement system
Furnace temperature is not core temperature. A compliant bath does not mean uniform cooling throughout a workpiece.
Temperature sensors at selected workpiece locations record changes in thick sections, thin sections and the core. Unlike a standard medium probe, this system measures the actual workpiece in its production process.
Look beyond a single final temperature
During heating: Check the internal condition and temperature differences before quenching.
During transfer and cooling: Observe each measurement point during furnace exit, immersion and changes in relative motion.
Checking the result: Relate measurement locations to post-quench hardness and microstructure to identify areas needing adjustment.
Turn a successful batch into conditions you can review

When a batch achieves the required result, its material, loading, medium, operating and temperature records provide a reference for similar production. Later differences can be investigated using records rather than memory alone.
Value for heavy wear-resistant parts
For heavy high-chromium cast iron sections, assess actual hardening and surface-to-core consistency. For Cr–Mo steel SAG liners, examine different locations against wear and impact requirements. Select measurement points for the task; one point does not represent the entire part.
The measurement system is available independently
Whether you need to check core heating or cooling at different locations, you can request this system separately. Buying temperature measurement equipment does not require replacing your existing quenchant or equipment.
Configuration starts with measurement locations, production conditions and recording requirements. Additional medium testing or fixtures can be considered separately if needed.
The system supports assessment of quench cooling and the as-quenched condition. Subsequent tempering is selected by the user according to material and quenching results.
